Coupling Sleeves & Coupling Adapters

Coupling sleeves and coupling adapters are used to connect two rods together or a rod to the shank of a top hammer drilling system.

Coupling Sleeves:

• If the threads to be connected are of the same type, for example both sides are T38, a coupling sleeve is used.

Coupling Adapters:

• If the threads are not the same, for example one side is R32 and the other side is T38, a coupling adapter is used.
